Have you ever heard something about the Seattle sound? If so, then you already know what the term grunge refers to.  Grunge music is a genre which roots can be found during the 80´s when heavy metal, indie rock and hardcore punk mixed to create this alternative-rock genre, reaching the peak of popularity during the early and mid-90´s. Bass, Guitar and Drums are the typical instruments play in Grunge, the sounds are characterized by heavy drumming, strong riffs, and dirty guitar. On the other hand, the subject matter of Grunge music relies on feelings of depression, fear, anger, sadness as well as disenchantment with social prejudices. Cross Fade, Love Battery, Nirvana and Pearl Jam are some of the most representative grunge artists.
