KISS is a hard rock/glam rock band that was formed in 1973 in New York City. KISS has performed and recorded music for more than 30 years. So far, this band has received 22 gold albums. They have sold 19 million albums in the United States. This band began to walk down the path of success thanks to their well planed live performances that included blood spitting, pyrotechnics, fire breathing and smoking guitars. They painted their faces and used stage costumes.

This band was formed in 1973. The original members of KISS were: Gene Simmons (vocals, bass), Paul Stanley (vocals, rhythm guitar), Ace Frehley (lead guitar, vocals) and Peter Criss (drums, vocals). These 4 men are the most successful and known members in the history of KISS. The current members of KISS are: Gene Simmons (vocals, bass), Paul Stanley (rhythm guitar, vocals), Tommy Thayer (lead guitar) and Eric Singer (drums). Former members of KISS include: Bruce Kulick (lead guitar, vocals), Eric Carr (drums, vocals), Mark St. John (lead guitar) and Vinnie Vincent (lead guitar).

In 1983, KISS decided to stop using makeup but they wore it again in 1996 when they announced a reunion of the original members in the “KISS Alive Worldwide” tour. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are the only two members that have been with the band since day one. Some of the songs of KISS are:  “I Was Made For Lovin’ You”, “Hard Times”, “A World Without Heroes”, “Dark Light”, “Hide Your Heart”, “God Gave Rock ‘N Roll To You II”, “Domino”, “Rock and Roll All Nite”, “Jungle” and “Psycho Circus".
