Fairhaven, MA (PRWEB) April 6, 2006 -- Mixing psychedelic-laced folk and insightfully spiritual lyrics, Fairhaven-based Mountain Mirrors will release their self-titled sophomore album on April 11 via www.mountainmirrors.com.

Mountain Mirrors' debut release, Lunar Ecstasy, received numerous accolades including Hellride Music referring to the album as “mind blowing” and StonerrockChick.com describing the record as “brilliant” and “fit for poets and travelers and seekers”, inspiring Mountain Mirrors’ mastermind Jeff Sanders’ motto for the outfit (Dark, kaleidoscopic folk music for poets, travelers and seekers...).

Self-Produced by Mountain Mirrors, the new album is inspired by Sanders’ fondness for Quentin Tarantino movies, The Sopranos and a variety of mysterious and darker films and TV shows. An admitted fan of “anything disturbing”, Sanders intertwines a dark thread throughout the songs, including the appropriately titled “Stay Evil”, “The Demon’s Eye” and “Karmic Dogs”, ironically coupled with an ethereal and touching musical backdrop.

Mountain Mirrors will be available upon release through the Mountain Mirrors website (www.mountainmirrors.com), CD Baby, Magnatune and major digital download services including iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster and others.
