Third Eye Blind is an alternative rock/post-grunge band that was formed in the early 1990’s. The original members of this band were: Stephan Jenkins (singer and song writer), Adrian Burley (drums), Jason Slater (bass guitar) and Tony Fredianelli (guitar). The change of members in the band before the release of their debut album was a constant. Kevin Cadogan, one of the main guitarists of Third Eye Blind, was released from the band after the launch of Blue, their second album. The departure of Kevin Cadogan is still questioned by the fans of Third Eye Blind. The current members of this band are: Stephan Jenkins (singer and song writer), Tony Fredianelli (guitar), Brad Hargreaves (drums) and Arion Salazar (bass guitar).

The first demo of Third Eye Blind was recorded in 1993. In 1996, they signed a record deal with Elektra Records after opening a show replacing Oasis. Their first album was self-titled, it included 14 songs and it was released on April 8, 1997. The debut album of Third Eye Blind sold over 6 million copies, some of the songs that it includes are: “Jumper”, “Graduate”, “How’s It Gonna Be”, “Semi-Charmed Life”, “Motorcycle Drive By”, “Losing A Whole Year” and “Narcolepsy.”

The band released Blue, their second album, in 1999. It sold over 2 million copies. The most popular song of this album is “Never Let You Go.” Out of the Vein, the third album of Third Eye Blind was released on May 15th, 2003, but it was a commercial disappointment despite including popular songs like “Blinded” and “Crystal Baller.”
