Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Vol 2: What Kids Want to Listen to!

Since very early years, kids have their tastes and preferences well defined so that they are able to decide between different choices. Sony BMG has gathered a series of singles that are not only popular but also the favorite of kids which is the most important aspect after all. Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Vol. 2 is the second release of a series which includes the singles that have been nominated for 2006’s Nickelodeon Kids' Choice awards. Different genres and musical styles are encompassed in this album: pop, R&B and post-punk.

Eighteen singles are included in Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Vol. 2: “Hollaback Girl” (Gwen Stefani), “Because Of You” (Kelly Clarkson), “1, 2 Step” (Ciara Featuring Missy Elliott), “Let Me Love You” (Mario), “These Words” (Natasha Bedingfield), “Perfect Situation” (Weezer), “Shut Up!” (Simple Plan), “Be My Escape” (Relient K), “Girl Next Door” (Saving Jane), “I Wanna Be” (Emma Roberts), “Collide” (Howie Day), “Follow Through” (Gavin Degraw), “Incomplete” (Backstreet Boys), “Inside Your Heaven” (Carrie Underwood), “Don't Wanna Try” (Frankie J), “Shine On” (Ryan Cabrera), “Stars” (Switchfoot) and “Do You Want To” (Franz Ferdinand).

This second release is as good as the first one which included the artists and singles nominated for 2005’s Nickelodeon Kids' Choice awards. The first album consisted of 18 singles of some of the most popular singers: Avril Lavigne, Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears, Alicia Keys among many others. That is the music kids like, that is what they want to listen to.
