Ciara: An Invitation to Feel the Best of Music
Ciara was born in Austin, Texas; since her father was in the army, she had to live in different cities and places during her childhood: Germany, New York, and Arizona. Her personal goal was to become a professional singer. Fortunately, she achieved her dream and now she is one of the most recognized stars of the R&B scene.
A fact worth mentioning is that Ciara is a songwriter too; she wrote most of the songs for her brand new album. The co-writer of the lyrics was Sean Garrett, who has also worked for Usher. She worked very hard on her first album, Goodies, which in January 2005 scored the first places in the worldwide music charts: United Kingdom, New Zealand, Germany and Sweden.
Among her most recent nominations in the musical ambiance, she has been awarded with the MTV Video Music Award, 2005; she won as Best Hip Hop Video for "Lose Control" (Missy Elliott feat. Ciara & Fatman Scoop). Furthermore, in February 2006 she was granted the Grammy Award for Best Short-Form Music Video: "Lose Control" (Missy Elliott feat. Ciara & Fatman Scoop).
Her charisma, together with her charming voice invites the R&B devotees to take a deep ride to their soul and join up the best productions on this genre.
