       <title>Soundtracks - vagmusic.com</title>
       <link>http://www.vagmusic.com/articles/Soundtracks_Summary.html</link>
<description>A soundtrack is the music that accompanies video games, television shows, or movies. Soundtracks can also refer to the albums which exclusively contain the music of a certain movie or show. The first music recorded to be used in a motion picture was released in 1916 by Victor Schertzinger. Some years later in 1930, the release of these songs was common. The impact a soundtrack has on the viewers is amazing, and it has become as essential as the plot. Moreover, today it is very common that video games have, besides sound effects, some music to accompany the game play. In both cases, the importance of soundtracks is undeniable.</description>
