Latin Music refers to Latin America Music which encloses many and diverse countries as well as varieties. For this reason, it can be grouped in different categories or musical areas: Andean, Central American, Caribbean and Popular music. Latin Music has absorbed influences from Spanish, English, American (United States) and African music; this has made it even more diverse. Tango, Milonga, Latin Jazz, Tropicalismo, Cueca, Salsa, Nueva Trova, Mambo, Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata, Mariachi, Reggaeton and Tex-Mex are just a few examples of the great richness this genre includes.
