Luny Tunes: Mas Flow!

Luny Tunes is a famed reggaeton duo that is made up by Francisco Saldana and Victor Cabrera, corresponding to Luny and Tunes respectively.  Both of them were born in Dominican Republic; however, they grew up in Puerto Rico before moving to Boston, U.S.  Also known as “the Neptunes of Reggaeton”, Luny Tunes are, today, famous do to the fact that all tracks they produce become a real success.  Among the greatest hits produced by them, it is possible to find Daddy Yankee’s “Gasolina”, Wisin y Yandel’s “Rakata”, Trebol Clan’s “Bailando Provocas”, Zion y Lennox’s “Hay Algo en Ti” and several other.

Before starting their career as producers, they worked in a completely different thing.  Both Saldana and Cabrera worked at Harvard University as a chef and as a dishwasher respectively.  Nevertheless, the moment they met Pipe Bernal, a very well-known reggae figure, they realized that music was their destination.  Thus, in conjunction with Pipe’s cousin Juan Sebastian Bernal and DJ Nesty, who are amazing Puerto Rican producers, began working on the project called Mas Flow III.

Among the CDs Luney Tunes has produced, DJ Neslson presenta: Luny Tunes & Noriega – Mas Flow, Luney Tunes – La Trayectoria, Luney Tunes – The Kings of the Beasts, and Luny Tunes & Baby Ranks – Mas Flow III are outstanding.  In addition, the production of the songs “Burn it up” of R. Kelly and Ricky Martin’s “Que mas da” have been produced by Luny Tunes too.  Therefore, Luny Tunes fans never get enough of them and are always asking for more.  Hence, there is no doubt that this extremely successful duo of two passionates for reggaeton are considered the best producers in their field!
