Ludacris is a popular rapper and actor. He was born on September 11, 1977 in Champaign, Illinois and his real name is Chris Brian Bridges. Ludacris moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he was able to make a name for himself. Today, he is a prominent Southern rapper.

In 2001, the acting career of Ludacris began when he starred in The Wash; then, he appeared in 2 Fast 2 Furious and in Lil Pimp. In 2005, he had important roles in Hustle & Flow and Crash. In Crash, he has an ironic scene in which his character dismisses hip hop music. His work in Crash gave him a lot of recognition. On January 29, 2006, he won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Cast in a Motion Picture for his role in Crash. Ludacris appeared in a recent episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. On his roles, he appears credited as Chris “Ludacris” Bridges. As a curious note, in both Hustle and Flow and Crash, his character gets a beating from the character of Terrence Howard.
