Gwen Renée Stefani was born in Anaheim California in 1969. When she was just a teenager she started doing the backing vocals in No Doubt, the band wherein her brother Eric was the keyboardist.  When Jonh Spence, vocalist of the band, committed suicide, Gwen became the lead singer. The other members of the band were Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal, and Adrian Young. Eric left the band to work in animation. No Doubt’s debut album was released in 1992 No Doubt, and after it, The Beacon Street Collection was released in 1995. However, her third album Tragic Kingdom (1995) was the one that gave them recognition and popularity, especially to Gwen who became very popular. The successful singles “Just a Girl” and “Don’t Speak” were part of this successful album.

Grammies and other recognitions and awards support the success achieved by No Doubt during the following albums: Return of Saturn (2000), Rock Steady (2001), The Singles 1992-2003 (2003) and Everything In Time (2003). Before she released her expected solo album in 2004, she had collaborated with other artists: Moby and Eve. Love.Angel.Music.Baby sold, in its first week, more albums than No Doubt ever.  With the collaboration of The Neptunes, Bernard Sumner, Nellee Hooper, Terry Lewis, Wendy & Lisa, Dallas Austin, Jimmy Jam, Dr Dre, Linda Perry, Peter Hook of New Order, Tony Kanal and Andre 3000, Gwen Stefani released an album of great quality.

With the hits “Rich Girl”, “Hollaback Girl” and “Cool”, Gwen Stephanie not only received five Grammy nominations but also provided her fans with an album that really shows what Gwen is, an album full of fun, confessions, rebellion and rhythm. Love.Angel.Music.Baby is an original and personal album that reflects Gwen influences the Cure, Debbie Deb, Prince, Madonna, the Time, Club Noveau and Depeche Mode. Love.Angel.Music.Baby is an album greatly expected and one that has given Gwen as well as her fans great satisfaction and enjoyment.
