DMX is a famous rapper and actor, his real name is Earl Simmons and he was born on December 18, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland. He is also known as The Divine Master of the Unknown and Dark Man X. Fans and critics all over the world admire the dark and gothic topics of his songs and his rhymes. DMX is among the greatest rap artists ever. He crossed over genres and also draws the attention of rock/metal and hardcore rap fans. He began to rap when he was 13 years old.

This rapper debuted as an actor in the movie Belly alongside fellow rappers Nas and Method Man. He also appeared in Romeo Must Die alongside Jet Li and Aaliyah. After being released from jail, Dark Man X starred in an action film called Exit Wounds, his co-star was Steven Seagal. The success of Exit Wounds secured him a multipicture deal with Warner Bros. He had the chance to work with Jet Li again in Cradle 2 the Grave. DMX was also the star of Never Die Alone, a movie based on the book of a street novelist called Donald Goines.

This rap artist has had rivalries with K-Solo, Kurupt, the LOX and Ja Rule. In fact, DMX teamed up with 50 Cent and Eminem to diss a record company called Murder Inc. Some songs of this artist are: Born Loser, Nothin' Move But The Money, Stop Being Greedy, No Love 4 Me, No Sunshine and We In Here.
