Christian Castro is part of the group of very well-known Mexican artists.  He was born on December 8, 1974 in Mexico City.  His style can be considered as pop in Spanish.  Being a great artist is not something that happened out of the blues in his life, but it is in his genes since he is the son of a great actress and singer called Veronica Castro.  He started his career when he was a very little child.  At 5 years old, Christian Castro makes his first acting performance in a TV show called “El Derecho de Nacer” and, in a play, with one of the most famous Mexican actresses called Silvia Pinal.  In fact, when he was 7 years old, he had his own kids’ band, which was called Cristian y los Gallitos.

When he was 14 years old, Christian Castro decided to get into the rock world, so he formed the Demonios Deliciosos band.  In addition, at 15 years old, he sang in the OTI’s festival, and in 1991, he debuted Agua Nueva, his first album.  In two years, he was debuting his second one, which was called Un Segundo en el Tiempo.  With the latter one, Christian received some nominations to the Grammy’s.  Before 1996, date when he published the album called El Deseo de Oir tu Voz, he started his acting career formally.

Some other albums that have made Christian Castro become so popular are Lo Mejor de mi (The Best of Me), Mi Vida sin tu Amor (My Life Without Your Love), Azul (Blue), Amar Es (Loving Is), Hoy Quiero Soñar (Today, I Want to Dream) and Días Felices (Happy Days).  Furthermore, among his most successful songs you can find “No Podrás”, “Mañana”, “Lloran las Rosas”, “Mi Vida sin Tu Amor” and “No Hace Falta”.  Thus, Christian Castro is, although young, one of the most famed artists not only in Mexico, but also in several other countries.  He is, without a doubt, an icon of the romantic music in Mexico.
